RYAN CALLOWAY
Ryan Calloway discovered his love for swing and jazz in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, his passion for the dance continued to grow as well as his interest in solo movement and musicality. Since relocating to San Francisco in 2008, Ryan has been teaching, competing, and performing. He has performed at the 9:20 Special and with Carla Heiney's 101 Junction at the Rhythm Lounge. He is also the Jack and Jill Champion of the 2009 Fillmore Jazz Festival. Ryan continues to explore the elements of solo jazz and finding creative ways of incorporating them into lindy hop. And he is very excited about having the opportunity to share his joy for swing with the 920 crew!
