Int. / Advanced Lindy Hop: "Killin' Jive" Series G, H and I
The Int./Advanced Level Series will only be offered every 3 months . When offered, the series typically starts on the first Thursday of the month at 8:20pm.
This series will build your Lindy vocabulary, focus on creativity and musicality, and challenge you to improve your connection with your partner and to the music. Each class is taught as a routine, so not only will you be learning new moves and improving your technique, but you'll be practicing your performance skills as well.
Prerequisites for Killin' Jive are taking at least two of the Jump Session classes, although we really recommend students take all three. Speak to one of the instructors if you have taken Lindy Hop classes elsewhere. This series is progressive, every week we build upon the moves taught in the first week.
Series G: Straight-Up Lindy!
This class gives you essential Lindy Hop vocabulary. We'll take you back to the roots of the dance with a short routine incorporating Lindy Hop's "must-know" moves such as the chase, skip up, sailor step, Russian kicks, & more.
Series H: Rhythm & Flow
Learn some smooth moves with a short routine incorporating concepts of momentum, connection, and musicality. This class will give you the background knowledge you need to take your Lindy to the next level.
Series I: Charleston Chasers
Get ready to explore the endless variations of Charleston. This class is filled with completely leadable patterns that will challenge your lead and follow skills and impress the crowd. Get ready to even amaze yourself with sides of Charleston you never thought possible.

Cost: $50 for the series (four 1 hour group classes) / $15 drop-in at the door (1st or 2nd week only). Class includes dance admission.
